Spring Silvers
We’re in the first days of spring in the northern hemisphere and I don’t know about you, but I am ready for buds blooming, blue skies and new beginnings. Spring is also the perfect time to have a bit of a refresh of your haircare routine, perhaps do a bit of spring cleaning and maintenance of your silvers.
Do the double cleanse
You may know that at White Hot we’re big supporters of the double cleanse life. Washing once to remove residual products and daily dirt, then a second time to boost hair health and give yourself a fresh canvas either with the same shampoo or a different one to address your individual needs eg. a nourishing formula (Glorious or Gloss Bar) paired with a brightening booster (Brilliant). Lock in moisture
Hydrate, smooth and de-frizz. Who doesn’t want their silver to shine in the sunlight? Exactly. It starts with keeping up with your conditioning routine, finishing your cleanse with a blob of Luminous for silky soft strands. Be sure to squeeze out excess water before applying! For bonus points, add a few drops of Lifeshine Oil post-wash on wet or dry hair.
Less is more
A phrase we may as well have on a t-shirt at this point (or at least a cap). Less is more. Try not to weigh your hair down by applying too much styling product, or try not to wash your hair too often (double cleansing will help with this). It not only saves time and effort, but helps maintain your scalp’s natural oils too.
Try something new
Mix it up for a new season. Perhaps experiment with Shooshing Crème if you fancy adding volume and texture to your look. Play around with a sleek style using Lifeshine Oil. Try a new shampoo, maybe Gloss Bar if you haven’t given a solid shampoo a go yet. Maybe incorporate Intense Lustre Mask into your self-care routine every so often, your hair will thank you for it.
