We're excited to announce our competition to find our next set of models. The criteria is pretty simple: natural grey and white hair a 'must' and no modelling experience required (just life experience).

We'll use the selected models in our new imagery for 2018.

Founder Jayne Mayled says: “There are some beautiful professional models around with grey and white hair - which is great news.  But we also know there are some equally vibrant women who would love to show how good silver can look. At White Hot we’re all about zest for life whatever your age, so what better way to show that than by taking part in a model shoot for the first time?”

How do we normally find our models?

This won’t be the first time White Hot has found someone ‘undiscovered’ to represent the brand. In 2014, we spotted a woman with amazing grey hair who was queueing at her local bank.  This woman was Nicola Griffin, who you'll recognise if you're a regular visitor to White Hot.  Nicola hadn't done any modelling since she was a young woman, but now has an established modelling career.  Last year she gained fame as the oldest model to be featured in a swimwear shoot which appeared in an advert in Sports Illustrated.

The White Hot model competition is open to anyone who has natural white or grey hair. Entrants are welcome whether you're 23 or 103, with any shade of white or grey hair - from Polished Pewter to Ice White.

Jayne continues: “We struck lucky when we met Nicola a couple of years ago, and it’s given us the confidence that there are other women out there who would be great ambassadors for our brand. We can’t wait to start meeting them.”

How to enter

The competition will run from Monday 18th September to Sunday 8th October. Enter via whitehothair.co.uk/modelcompetition. Entrants must be available to attend a photo shoot on Tuesday 7th / Wednesday 8th November 2017.
